Murdoch University Dubai is a fully integrated branch campus of Murdoch University, one of Australia’s leading research-intensive universities, based in Perth, Western Australia. Established in 2008 in Dubai International Academic City, the campus moved to the heart of the purpose-built education hub, Dubai Knowledge Park in May 2020.
Our vibrant, state-of-the-art campus in Dubai Knowledge Park, currently covers 2500 sq metres over two levels, and is twice as large as our former home in Academic City. As of 2026, the campus will extend to almost 4000 sq metres as we expand our teaching, learning and research facilities into a third level at Block 18.
The campus features world-class facilities, including dedicated cybersecurity and gaming labs with custom-built IT systems, purpose- built education-focused furniture, and range of ‘touchdown’ breakout spaces to promote a collaborative teaching, learning and social environment.
Quality Assurance and Regulatory Compliance
The campus is licensed by both the Dubai Government education regulator, Knowledge and Human Development Authority (KHDA) and by the Commission for Academic Accreditation (CAA) under the UAE’s Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research (MOHESR). This double government-level oversight assures you of the highest quality international education here in the UAE. Each of our undergraduate and postgraduate degrees have also been fully recognised and accredited by CAA and can be seen here.
Our institutional licensure and program accreditation under the Commission for Academic Accreditation (CAA), validates the university’s overall compliance with rigorous quality standards, recognises our commitment to maintaining the highest academic standards and excellence and further solidifies Murdoch University Dubai’s reputation as a globally respected institution.
Importantly, the campus is also regulated by the Australian government’s national quality assurance and regulatory agency for higher education, Tertiary Education Quality and Standards Agency (TEQSA). This Australian government oversight ensures that the education you receive here in Dubai is the same as that of the home campus and ensures each academic offering meets the same high standards.
