Student employability

Career support and internships

Student employment is an important part of the graduate experience. It gives you real-life work experience, which helps you prepare for your career and gain new skills. It can also help you gain confidence, build networks and make contacts, and get a head start on your CV.

Student employability is about how well-equipped you are to enter the world of work. It includes a range of skills that employers look for, such as communication and team working. We help you develop these skills and make sure you're ready to start your career after university.

Employability skills for students

At Murdoch University, students have the option of working while they are studying. They can look for part-time work and balance it with their studies. Over 4,500 businesses, the majority of which are foreign corporations, are located in Dubai's free zones and provide part-time jobs to students. Since these companies have diverse industry fields (information technology, media, higher education, hospitality, etc.) students will definitely find part-time job vacancies that suit them.
