What is LMS?
LMS is Murdoch University Learning Management System can be used by staff to create web-based courses - either entirely online courses or as an online supplement to a face to face unit.
A site is set up on the LMS for each unit offering requested. Staff access their online units from the LMS link or Teaching and Learning link on Murdoch staff page. Unit Coordinators modify their sites to suit their teaching and assist student learning. They can publish lecture materials and other learning resources for their students and make use of the tools for communicating with students and providing learning activities.
Students can use the LMS to access learning materials and activities and to communicate with the Unit Coordinator and other students. Students access their online units from their MyMurdoch page.
The system is available at any time from any location.
